Qian Mausoleum, the tomb of Emperor Gaozong and his empress Wuzetian, is located on the peak of Liangshan, 80 kilometers away from XiAn.
The great mausoleum was first built in 684 and is one of the best preserved tombs among the Tang Dynastys 18 mausoleums. Stone sculptures scatter around everywhere in the mausoleum sites.
Exquisite and elegant, these stone carvings upright on top of the mountain for over 1,200 years. The first stone sculpture encounters visitor is a pair of ornamental pillars. The tall and upright pillars are charismatic and their shafts, plinths and crown were all decorated with line carvings.
Along the sacred path, visitor will then find pairs of winged horses and rose finches. Ancient Chinese supreme rulers wanted their underground life would be prosperous so they often had propitious creatures, birds, beasts placed in front of their mausoleum to guard them. The winged horses, wings decorated with slender, delicate lines, are in a flying gallop. The rose finches, in high relief, were beautifully shaped and sturdily carved.
It is said that because rose finches were a gift from Afghanistan for the funeral and could serve as guards, a pair of them were erected in front of the tomb.
The Tomb of Princess Yongtai is the first tomb to be excavated and remains the most impressive of all the satellite tombs in Qian Mausoleum.
Princess Yongtai was the granddaughter of Tang Emperor Gaozong and his wife Empress Wu Zetian.
In 700, she married Wu Yanji, son of Wu Chengsi, who was Wu Zetians nephew. In 701, Princess Yongtai died in Luoyang, at the age of 17.
The tomb of Princess Yongtai held more than 1,000 valuable cultural artifacts, including murals, pottery and wooden figurines, tri-color glazed pottery figurines, gold vessels, jade articles, and copper wares.
The tri-color glazed pottery figurines, which are beautifully shaped and have peculiar decorative designs, demonstrate the high artistic level of the Tang Dynasty ceramic industry.
The antechamber represents a drawing room with murals mainly depicting elegantly dressed women attendants. With different articles in their hands, they carry themselves with grace and wear different expressions from one another. They look as if they are on the way to serve Princess Yongtai.
On the ceiling of the chamber are painted celestial figures. There is a triple-leg rooster symbolizing the sun, a Jade Hare representing the moon, with the Milky Way in between. The mural reflects the highly developed astronomy at that time. The stone coffins of Princess Yongtai and her husband are in the rear chamber. The coffins had an outer one and an inner one. The outer coffin was carved with exquisite pictures on both sides. The inner wooden coffin had completely rotted away due to its long-time saturation in silt.

Famen means the initial approach to become a Buddhist believer. The Famen Temple was first built during East Han Dynasty. In 147 AD King Asoka of India traveled throughout Asia, distributing Buddhist relics as atonement for his sins and war-like attitude.
In China, he built this Temple and left the fingers of Buddha to be enshrined here, so The Famen Temple pagoda, also named the Real Spirit Pagoda.
An underground vault was discovered beneath the foundation of the pagoda. The palace is 21.2 meters long with an area of 31.84 square meters. Hong Kong Dolphin Watch was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of the rare and wonderful pink dolphins that inhabit the coastal waters around Hong Kong. A population of around 120 Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins, coloured an amazing ‘bubble-gum’ pink, are fighting to survive against the usual environmental threats.
Numbers have been dwindling for years but thanks to funds raised by ‘Dolphin Watch’ (part of which derive from the tourist boat cruises), the population is now stable.
This scenic cruise allows you to see the pink dolphins in their natural habitat and to learn more about what people can do to help preserve them.
96% of trips have successful sightings. If no dolphins are seen, passengers are entitled to go for free again on a scheduled cruise subject to availability.

You will experience two picturesque towns, Suzhou and Zhouzhuang, each unique in the splendors they reveal. Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze basin, founded in about 600 BC. With its interconnected waterways and beautiful environment, the city is often referred as "The Venice of the East." Suzhou was one of the few city's in China to escape the ravages of the cultural revolution and its famous gardens survived almost intact. It is the gardens here, which are the most famous attraction in the city. The gardens embody the harmonious principles of Chinese garden construction which dictate that gardens should attempt to create a microcosm of the universe in a confined space.
Zhouzhuang is well known for its beautiful environment and simple architecture, well preserved for over 900 years. The majority of the town's residences were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and nearly 100 classic courtyards and 60 carved-brick archways are still in use. In this water village, locals live life on waterways, still doing everyday activities from washing clothes to shopping from vendors in boats.
Upon arrival in Suzhou, the first stop is Net Master Garden, the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then it's on to view the Ancient City Wall, the Grand Canal, and a tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century. After lunch, we visit the water town of Zhouzhuang and board a Chinese-style gondola to cruise the waterways of the city.
Tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, air-conditioned coach, transportation tax, tolls, parking fees, English-speaking guide, lunch, all admission tickets, and gondola ride.

This is the portraiture to Hangzhou by one of most ancient Chinese poets. Marco Polo once called Hangzhou, “the most beautiful and magnificent city in the world”. It is a city rich with history and culture, spanning back over 2000 years. It made a name for itself in the sixth century, when the Grand Canal opened up and linked the area to other centers of trade. The South Song Dynasty (A.D. 1127-1279) helped making Hangzhou famous when the imperial family moved there in the 12th Century. With its inviting views and outstanding scenery, the area soon became popular with artists, poets and painters seeking inspiration in this little bit of paradise.
Our first stop is Six Harmonies Pagoda. It is on to the most striking structure in the city. You will get to visit the charming museum and snap some photos in front of this architectural marvel that was built in the Song Dynasty.
Next stop will be a visit to Meijiawu Tea Village, for a traditional tea ceremony and its significance to Chinese culture.
After lunch, the beautiful view of West Lake is going to greet us. We will have a cruise across West Lake to experience peace and serenity like no place else in the Shanghai area. The unforgettable scenery includes Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Bai and Su Causeways, Solitary Hill, and Leifeng Pagoda, etc. The boat ride ends at Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor. We will have the chance to walk along on Su Causeway, and feed the fish in the Red Fish Pond to prey for the good luck.
At last, we will go to experience the nature and visit “9 Creeks & 18 Gullies”. We may have a lovely walk and enjoy the peaceful environment. The Bund is the cultural section of Shanghai that best represents the blending of ancient and modern influences. This renowned waterfront district is the city’s most famous landmark. The word Bund is of Anglo-Indian origin meaning “embankment on the waterfront”, and you’ll experience the definition literally with a feeling of space and openness that you won’t find anywhere else in Shanghai.
The tour starts with an evening cruise on the Huangpu River, which divides the Bund into two sections, Pu Dong and Pu Xi, which mean “east of river” and “west of river”. Local people honor the Huangpu as Mother River, and as you view the lights and spectacle from the deck of your evening cruise, you will understand why.
After the cruise, we will enjoy a walk along the Bund on our way to the historically famous Peace Hotel, which served as the center of Shanghai’s nightlife in the 1920’s and 30’s. Then we will take a trolley tour to enjoy the magnificent night view of Nanjing Road.

We've combined two of our most popular destinations north of Beijing into one unforgettable tour. First we drive to the Great Wall, the very symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure, and you will have the opportunity to climb up either the North or South Face of the Wall. From here it is on to the sacred Ming Tombs, burial grounds to 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. You'll explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three separate,
impressive courtyards. Lunch will be included in the tour, along with a shopping spree at the world renown Bohua Jade Factory.

Tour II of Historic Beijing begins at the Yonghe Lamasery and one of the best examples of the region's many sacred temples. Lama Temple reveals diverse architectural styles from Han, Mongolia, Manchuria and Tibet, and the impressive 60-foot Maitreya Buddha, carved form a single sandalwood tree. Then it's on to one of the highpoints of anyone visiting Beijing, a trip to the zoo to see the frolicking Pandas, a living Chinese treasure. After a stop for lunch, you'll then visit the emperor's retreat, the historic Summer Palace. Used for eight centuries, the Empress Dowager Cixi had the estate renovated in the 19th century, including the manmade lake we see today. Besides touring the ornate palace, you'll stroll through one of Beijing's favorite parks. During the day, we will also go on a shopping excursion to the White Peacock Silk Carpet Factory.
We recommend you also take Tour I, which is held on alternating days. Each is a complete tour and can be taken separately.

Mutianyu offers an alternative Great Wall experience compared to the popular Badaling section. This portion of China's ancient engineering marvel features an optional cable car ride, or an opportunity to climb more than 1,400 steps to the top. Mutianyu Great Wall is much steeper than Badaling Great Wall, and a more challenging climb. This section is older than Badaling, and features outer and inner parapets and three watch towers. A visit to a nearby Cloisonne Factory is also included in this half day tour.
