The Race of Champions returns to Wembley
• Schumacher signs up to take on world’s best racers
The Race of Champions is one of the most spectacular events in world motorsport. It’s where the best drivers from Formula 1, world rallying, touring cars and NASCAR go head-to-head with each other as they fight to prove who is the “Champion of Champions.” And, taking place on a specially-built tarmac circuit that covers the hallowed turf of Wembley Stadium, there’s no better venue.
Seven-times F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and Toro Rosso F1 racer Sebastian Vettel are the first drivers to be confirmed for the December 14 event where the two Germans will return to fight to retain the ROC Nations Cup they won last year. And for Schumacher, who was runner-up in last year’s Race of Champions, he’ll be extra-keen to go one place better in 2008.
More stars are still to be announced but, with previous entrants including Sebastien Loeb, Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Valentino Rossi, it really is the one and only event where you can see the top stars from the world’s major motorsport series compete on identical terms.

Paddock Pass information
- Gives access to the Paddock to see the cars and get autographs from drivers for 1 hour.- It also includes a Goodie bag with some gifts given out after the event, official programme, hot drink, etc.

The invitation Sevens tournament, first held back n 1926, is one of the oldest Sevens competitions in England and is the most famous rugby charity event in the world.
The first Sevens competition had 50 clubs competing with the finals being held at Twickenham. The winners that year, Harlequins, defeated St Mary's Hospital and raised net proceeds of £1621.
Since then The Middlesex Sevens competition has been staged in unbroken sequence becoming the largest Club Sevens in the world and, until the format was streamlined in 1992, had 300 entries per year.
The arrival of the professional game has a huge impact on the Sevens and, following discussions with the Premiership Clubs, it was decided to relaunch the Middlesex Charity Sevens as a celebration of a new season rather than its traditional role as a finale. With the support of all clubs in the Guinness Premiership, the Middlesex Charity Sevens remains one of England's biggest charity events and the major sevens tournament in Europe.

Dress Code
There is no strict dress code on Club Level. A smart casual rule applies. Smart jeans and trainers will be permitted, however no away team colours will be allowed. Arsenal Football Club reserve the right to refuse entry to those who are not appropriately dressed.
Smoking policy
Emirates Stadium has a no smoking policy through the entire stadium, including the stadium seating bowl. Re-admittance is also not permitted and so smokers should be prepared to not smoke whilst they
Leaving the stadium
Leaving Emirates Stadium: Arsenal Station (Piccadilly Line) is around three minutes walk from the stadium. Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, Northern Line and overground rail) and Finsbury Park (Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line and overground rail) stations are approximately 10 minutes walk. All stations in the area are extremely busy until approximately 45 minutes to one hour after the game.
Travel Information
By Tube and Rail
Arsenal (Piccadilly Line) is the nearest tube station, around three minutes walk from the ground. Finsbury Park (Victoria, Piccadilly Lines and Great Northern rail) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line and Great Northern rail) stations are around a 10-minute walk - these should be slightly less crowded.
King's Cross is the main connecting station for national rail and many underground lines. From here you can travel to the ground via the Piccadilly Line (to Arsenal) or the Victoria Line (to Highbury & Islington). Alternatively, a short overground rail journey of one stop will take you to Finsbury Park station.
Please note: Holloway Road station will be exit-only before and after matches with pre match eastbound trains non-stopping.
By Bus
Bus is a fast and convenient option with connections passing the ground on all sides. Main bus stops are located on Holloway Road, Nag's Head, Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road and Highbury Corner. High frequency services will take you within a five to 10 minute walk of the ground and direct routes cover much of north and central London.
By Car
Supporters are strongly advised not to drive to Emirates Stadium. The ground is situated in a mainly residential area with an extensive Event Day Parking Scheme in operation. Only car owners with resident's permits will be allowed to park on-street in the designated areas and any cars parked illegally will be towed away.
