6 Exciting races and the opportunity to dress to impress and win some fantastic prizes!
Gates open at 3.50pm
• 1st Race 6.20pm
• 6th Race 8.50pm
Ladies’ Nights are one of the great success stories of the horse racing industry, helping to boost attendances for the country’s second most popular spectator sport.
As Pip Kirkby, managing director of Nottingham Racecourse, says: “At the races, women are treated with courtesy and respect. They are treated as ‘ladies’. It’s old fashioned chivalry, and it sets this sport apart in the most wonderful way.”
This year the racecourse has created a new ‘Umbrella Bar’ as a perfect venue to enjoy something cool and fizzy on an occasion like Ladies’ Day. There is also a 25ft by 25ft video screen to make viewing more enjoyable.
As always at the racecourse, accompanied children under the age of 16 are admitted free of charge.
A “Ladies’ Elegance” admission package on Saturday includes a Premier Enclosure Badge, a programme, a £2 Totepool discount betting voucher, a glass of Champagne, and a Chicken & Bacon Melt Panini/Roast Vegetable & Mozzarella Panini.
